It's practically December and it's 79 degrees in my condo. This is ridiculous. I would open my windows but I don't want my cat to dive through the bug screen and splatter on the sidewalk. Luckily, it'll only be 58 tomorrow so I think I can get by without cranking up the A/C.

Let's see... what else has been going on... I spent a couple of days this week migrating web sites onto a new webserver. As if I didn't hate Microsoft enough already, the designers of IIS are fucking braindead! Why couldn't they just store the config data in a text file like Apache? Why all this point and click madness? These morons haven't tried moving 100+ sites between web servers. Fuck you Microsoft. Yes, I know there's the IIS Migration Wizard but even that is a piece of shit that crashed on every other site. After running it 50 or so times, I still had to go update the home path, log path, IP address and set the security to medium for EVERY SINGLE SITE. So basically, a task that takes maybe a few minutes in any sane web server took me an entire day with IIS. PIece of crap.

Thanksgiving was fun! It was the first one that I actually stayed in Atlanta. Ten or eleven straight hours of drinking and eating left me pretty useless the day after.

I got pretty trashed last Saturday because I think I didn't eat much for dinner. I'll never make that mistake again. However, I did rediscover Indian food the next afternoon. We went to some Indian buffet place off Briarcliff (I think). I will be going back again.

Every now and then I have the Duck Tales theme song stuck in my head. I don't know why. I guess I'm weird like that. Anyway, I just got around to looking it up on YouTube. Why am I not surprised that it's actually there?
